Description

EL-Lene H5604F is a high-density polyethylene for blown film produced with the bimodal process from Mitsui Chemicals, Inc. of Japan. It offers high tensile strength with good dart impact strength, high stiffness, low gel content and a good moisture barrier.

Recommended applications

  • Film of 10 to 25 µm (recommended thickness)
  • Shopping bags and T-shirt bags
  • Garbage bags
  • Liner bags

Film properties obtained on 12 µm film produced on a pilot line (TPE) with a blow-up ratio of 5:1. MD: machine direction; TD: transverse direction. Tensile and modulus values converted from kg/cm² to MPa by dividing by 10.2, as stated in the data sheet. Manufacturer's values: intended as a guide, not as product specifications.
