Description
Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) copolymer resin produced with state-of-the-art 2R direct high I.V. technology, with low crystallinity and low acetaldehyde (AA) generation. It is designed and engineered to provide high dimensional strength and mechanical properties; the low crystallinity and heat of fusion of the resin give low residual acetaldehyde generation in injection moulding and lower energy for conversion into bottles.
Recommended applications
- Carbonated soft drinks
- Alcoholic beverages
- Edible oils
- Pharmaceutical containers
- APET sheet

More information
- Food contact
- Considered safe for food packaging applications based on compliance with US FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.1630, EU Regulation 10/2011, EC Directive 94/62/EC and the CONEG regulations (USA/Canada) for heavy metal content.
- Spherical pellets
- The spherical pellets ensure smooth conveying in long pipelines with near-zero fines generation, and allow air to flow easily around them for consistent drying at lower temperatures, saving energy.
